Creative and classic drawing lessons for beginners and adults who feel confused about arts

Lesson Structure

10 hours — 10 weeks — 190 exercises
A 60-minute lesson is built around time-limited exercises, allowing for quick results.
The exercises include elements of classical drawing, art therapy, creative writing, studying techniques of modern artists, comics, illustration techniques, and more.

We start the lesson with warm-up exercises, then move on to the main theme of the lesson, followed by reinforcement and creative writing exercises.

What you’ll need for the lesson:
A pack of A4 copy paper and 3 black gel pens.
During a lesson, we can create up to 100 drawings.

Schedule:
Lessons are held once a week for 60 minutes. More frequent sessions are unnecessary—it would lead to overload.

Each lesson costs $55.

Teaching Methodology: Lessons Built Around Exercises

Our lessons are centered around exercises. Why? What do we achieve with this approach?

The foundation of our teaching methodology is built on 10 basic lessons, each named after innovative artists. After completing these, students specialize based on their individual goals, whether in illustration, contemporary art, or collages. Depending on their interests, we either focus on a specific niche or continue working with the foundational methodology.

Because lessons are exercise-based, we can develop individualized learning plans tailored to each student’s unique characteristics. For students with medical conditions, we create fully customized plans to accommodate their needs. The variety of exercises ensures faster skill acquisition while simultaneously addressing multiple goals: developing drawing skills, fostering creative thinking, reducing stress, and broadening horizons.

Time Limits

Exercises range from 1 to 15 minutes, depending on their complexity.

Why? What do we achieve with this?

  • Full concentration: Students focus entirely on the task, avoiding distractions.
  • No fear of failure: If an exercise doesn’t go as planned, we simply start over.
  • Emotional relief: Students leave non-lesson-related matters “at the door.”
  • New reflexes: Short, timed tasks help develop quick, intuitive responses.
  • No copying: Students rely on their internal resources, moving directly from theory to practice.

Studying Classical Drawing Through Avant-Garde

Classical drawing exercises are integrated into the lessons.

Why? What do we achieve with this?

  • Immediate immersion: Beginner-friendly skills allow students to dive into the drawing process right away.
  • Accessibility: Suitable for students with impaired hand motor skills.

Exposure to art history: Students are introduced to the innovative works of avant-garde artists and contemporary art from the very first lesson. This:

  • Broadens horizons and fosters an interest in contemporary art.
  • Makes visiting museums and exhibitions an enjoyable experience.
  • Removes the fear of “mistakes” for students raised on socialist realism or classical art.
  • Eases the effects of a totalitarian upbringing.
  • Encourages bold experiments and helps students develop a personal style.

No Copying or Ready-Made Solutions

Why? What do we achieve with this?
Students independently “unlock doors” through practice, using the keys provided by the teacher. And there are thousands of doors to explore.
